Who is Reliant?
We were born in 1989 as a mission support agency for a small group of campus church planters. A lot's changed since then! (Less stonewashed jeans, for one).
Today we mobilize church planters and missionaries across like-minded missional groups and church-planting networks. As we've expanded our partnerships, we've adopted a new name. Yet our devotion to Jesus' command to "Go and make disciples..." remains. It's who we are.
Financial Accountability
Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
Reliant (GCM) has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability since 1992. The standard in Christian nonprofit accountability, the ECFA holds its 2,000 members to strong standards that focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of charity resources. Failure of any of the ECFA's Seven Standards for Responsible Stewardship is disqualification, and Reliant has consistently met these for over twenty years. See our ECFA member profile.

Our financial records are audited by the independent certified accounting firm of Capin Crouse, LLP—the country's leading accounting and advisory firm primarily serving the Christian not-for-profit community.
Annual Reporting
Our Annual Ministry Reports are available online, and we hope you will browse through them. They are provided for our ministry donors and public for a transparent view of our internal financials each year.
Published Data
Reliant provides reporting and financial data to nationally recognized nonprofit databases such as Guidestar, where we hold a Guidestar Exchange Seal for commitment to transparency and accountability.
It has been my privilege to be associated with Reliant for ten years as a donor, consultant and board member. Having worked with hundreds of ministries in over eighty countries I can assure you that Reliant is an outstanding organization. As the founding President of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability I find Reliant to be one of the best when it comes to financial integrity and prudence. The leaders of Reliant are dedicated men and women of unusual competence. I know of no ministry that accomplishes more for the number of staff than Reliant.
